She was raised in the city of Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley. Her Sophomore year in High School is where she discovered that she wanted to be a journalist. She was fascinated by other people’s stories and how they
lived their everyday lives. She has a way of speaking and getting the attention of her viewing and listening audience. Jazmin moved to Houston, Texas, at 17, where she started her career in the media. She worked on the set of the Deborah Duncan Show, Good Morning Houston in 2010. From there she joined a Toastmasters club to improve her speaking ability. She later co-hosted The Vangundy Show in
2013.
Jazmin also co-hosted a gospel event with Marcus D. Wiley in the same year. Improving and evolving as a young woman, she gained more knowledge in her field. She went to London for a “Sports Management Worldwide” Conference, where she met former players and learned the business side of media in 2014. She also attended the “Prime Time” Sports Management Conference in Toronto,
Canada.
In September 2014, Jazmin worked with Yahoo Radio Sports and ESPN where she gained experiences in both radio and television. She has always been excited about and receptive to open opportunities to improve herself and increase her knowledge in the media industry. It has opened numerous doors for her. From-2015-2020, Jazmin has done sound bite coverage on Radio Row for the
Super Bowl. She has interviewed celebrities like Mathew Knowles, Yolanda Adams, Lisa Raye, Jaheim, Carl Payne, Eric Bennett, DeeRay Davis, and Lil Flip just to name a few.
Jazmin has very diverse interview skills and recently interviewed several NBA players, as well as getting the inside scoop on the players from the Rockets Locker Room. She has interviewed the 28-0 Boxing Champion Jermel Charlo as well as other athletes.
Jazmin Anderson has been Free-lance reporter who has worked with Channel ATV on Award Shows and Mega conferences. She has traveled state to state getting coverage with the team. She also goes out into the community to feed the homeless, and is always volunteering for charities and events that better people as a whole.
