CHANNEL A TV Staff and volunteers collaborated with the Kent Black Action Commission (KBACK) to celebrate the 2013 Juneteenth in Kent. This was an all day event which included history story telling from the African American communities to an effort to preserve the Black History and the heritage of our Nation at large. Special guests included the Mayor of Kent, Suzette Cooke and Senator Joe Fenn. Channel A TV crew recorded a documentary to be aired on Puget Sound Access Television on Comcast Channel 77. The documentary was directed by Davies Chirwa and produced by DC PRODUCTIONS.
