Seattle Reign FC Edge Past Kansas City Current with a 1-0 Home Victory

Under the bright lights of Lumen Field, Seattle Reign FC delivered a poised and professional performance Friday night, clinching a 1-0 win over the visiting Kansas City Current. The victory was decided by a moment of brilliance from veteran forward Lynn Biyendolo, who scored her first goal in Reign colors—and her 81st in NWSL history, cementing her legacy as one of the league’s most prolific goal-scorers.

The decisive strike came in the 37th minute. After a stretch of sustained pressure, midfielder Quinn curled in a pinpoint cross that Biyendolo met with confidence, sliding it past Kansas City goalkeeper Adrianna Franch. The goal was met with thunderous applause from the home crowd of over 9,000 fans, many of whom came to witness Biyendolo’s long-awaited breakthrough in Reign blue.
