In a powerful show of unity, inspiration, and purpose, Channel A TV proudly delivered exclusive coverage of the WayMaker Men’s Summit during the BET Experience 2025. Held at The Beehive in South Los Angeles, the event brought together a remarkable assembly of influential Black men from across the entertainment, sports, spiritual, and business landscapes, all committed to mentoring, empowering, and uplifting the next generation.

Produced and directed by Channel A TV President Dr. Davies Chirwa, the summit’s coverage highlighted moving keynote speeches, panel sessions, and one-on-one red carpet interviews that embodied the essence of leadership, transformation, and legacy. Dr. Chirwa also extended invitations to notable guests including Malawian international artist Tay Grin, hip-hop legend E.D.I. Mean, Global Peace Ambassador Dr. Agrippa Ezozo and global educator Dr. Michael Thompson, among many others.

With themes centered around wellness, leadership, culture, mental health, masculinity, personal growth, and industry insights, the summit aimed to redefine and uplift the image of Black men in today’s society. Participants shared lived experiences, career strategies, spiritual wisdom, and the importance of brotherhood in overcoming personal and systemic challenges.

Channel A TV’s red carpet segment, hosted by Rodney Walker, was a fan-favorite moment, capturing powerful soundbites and intimate conversations with celebrities and leaders. Beyond the spotlight, Dr. Davies Chirwa went a step further by offering mentorship opportunities to young men from around the world, who were given hands-on experience behind the scenes in media production and journalism as part of Channel A TV’s global media mentorship initiative.
