Los Angeles, CA — Women Empowerment is in fact creating the ability in women to exercise full control over their actions by embracing their strengths and capabilities. These actions were illustrated on Saturday, September 8th at the First Annual Women Empowerment Influential Panel presented by OVRDS The Brand, sponsored by Unfayn and moderated by Othelia Joy of Channel A Television.
The panelists included the talented business women and star of the reality show WAGS Atlanta – Telli Swift, accomplished celebrity fashion stylist – Shelly Styles, and actress of the hit Nickelodeon show, ‘Knight Squad’- Lilimar. The panelists answered questions about social media and women empowerment and how those two concepts co-exist in a society where women are considered objects and are still fighting for their voice to be heard.
The room was filled with inspiring women and men from all walks of life who expressed interest in women empowerment and in favor of women advancement. The atmosphere was encouraging and motivating — attendees were allowed to ask the panelists thought provoking questions and partake in the event.
Also in the room were vendors such as Seven Saints Life, Sophii Michii, Los Angeles Oils and Butters, etc who gifted our panelists and offered a unique experience to visitors. In addition, the event also included great music, a live performance from Chicago native – Live By Example (LBE), an open bar for unlimited drinks and other great activities.
In a nutshell, the event was successful, informative and encouraging. Although changes are currently taking place, there is still ways to go when it comes to women empowerment. And one thing to remember is that the word “men” is in the word “Women.” Thus, women are no less than men and deserve their rights in all aspects of life.
